Make
your vote count - This is our Chance Lets Get
Them Out NOW!
It has been announced that the
election will take place on May 6th, so lets all
ensure that we all get our votes in. Now I know
that our once great country has been turned into
a toilet, and our self serving politicians are
full of lies so it's probably best to approach it
by thinking who will get us out of the recession
and who can run the Government and do the least
damage to our country, and of course who is most
likely to allow successful country sports to
continue. I wrote letters to all my local
parliamentary candidates (Avon) asking what their
views were on Shotgun sports, and the only
positive response I received was from Dr Liam Fox
(Conservative).
I cannot stress enough how important it is to
vote regardless of how fed up we are about our
Government. Nu Liebour are counting on the silent
majority not voting because they know that public
apathy will probably tip the scales in their
favour, and lets not forget, they have been
importing voters for the last 13 years with their
lax immigration policy and free handouts courtesy
of our taxes. Just think, if you were the type of
person who would never want to work for a living
who would you vote for? Also, if you don't bother
voting then you aren't really entitled to moan
about the state of the country either.
And before I get carried away here i'll finish
with a quote that rings so true with the state of
our country at the moment:
In 1931, Adrian Rogers said ...
"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by
legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
What one person receives without working for,
another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything
that the government does not first take from
somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do
not have to work because the other half is going
to take care of them, and when the other half
gets the idea that it does no good to work
because somebody else is going to get what they
work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning
of the end of any nation.
You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
Just remember this if you have a faint desire to
vote Labour ... Bliar, Brown and their corrupt
titled cronies in the House of Lords paid no
attention and look at what happened.
Newnham
Park Closes Down
I thought it was some kind of April
fools hoax when I head about the closure of my
favourite Universal Trap venue. Unfortunately
it's true and a real shame that Newnham Park (UK)
Ltd announced that it will cease two of the four
shooting activities (club and competition),
shifting it's focus on the lucrative corporate /
stag do market.
I'm quite surprised at this one because there was
always a relatively good turnout (5 squad
minimum) even during the winter series.
Well I suppose that as we're all being taxed to
death some businesses must differentiate or die.
Shooting Grounds like Newnham Park that offer
good facilities and good targets are becoming
scarce in the UK. I hope that other grounds such
as EYGC and Southern Counties don't follow
otherwise BICTSF and BS will have to pick our
Olympic hopefuls from a stag do!!
